Shark-themed Sand Sculpture Competition
比賽日期： 2013 年 10 月 20 日
Date of Competition: 20th October 2013
比賽時間： 下午 1 時至 3 時，下午4時開始進行評分，下午5時進行頒獎儀式
Time of Competition: 1:00-3:00pm, scoring starts at 4:00pm, Award Ceremony starts at 5:00pm
比賽地點： 淺水灣海灘
Location: Repulse Bay Beach
集合地點及時間： 淺水灣海灘 香港護鯊會詢問處，下午 12 時 30 分報到
Meeting point and time: Repulse Bay Beach, Hong Kong Shark Foundation Counter, check in at 12:30pm
名 額： 公開組 及 家庭組各5隊，10 隊（先到先得，額滿即止）
Quota: 5 public groups and 5 family groups (This is done on a first come first serve basis.
Admittance will stop when the quota is reached.)
參加資格： 凡本港居民，不限年齡及性別均可參加
Participants: Must be a Hong Kong citizen of any gender or age.
比賽規則：
Rules of the competition:
- 比賽組別：公開組/ 家庭組 (家庭組需由直系親屬組成，當中需包括最少一名18歲以下之兒童)
每隊 4 至 6 名成員；
Division of groups: public groups/family groups (The family group is composed of members of the immediate family. Within each group, a minor under the age of 18 must be included. Each group is composed of 4 to 6 members.) - 作品需以 “推廣護鯊訊息” 為主題；
Sand sculptures must be shark protection and conservation to spread awareness. - 比賽區域，位於海灘邊3 米 X 3 米位置內；
Sand sculptures must be created within a 3m X 3m area on the beach. - 作品需於2小時內完成；
Sand sculptures must be completed within 2 hours. - 首兩名得獎作品 及The Pulse < 愛海灘 愛環保 >盃 將由主辦單位委任的評判選出。
The top three contestants will receive prizes. Winners will be chosen by the organizers’ elected judges. - 作品當中不可帶有任何不雅， 令人反感或不適當的內容。
Sand sculptures must not include any vulgar, offensive or inappropriate content.
獎品：首兩名得獎者及The Pulse < 愛海灘 愛環保 >盃得獎者 可獲得獎盃乙個，頒獎儀式將於決賽後即場舉行。
Prizes: The top two contestants and The Pulse < 愛海灘 愛環保 >盃得獎者will receive trophies. The award ceremony will be held right after the competition.
一般準則及建議：
General guidelines or ideas on what to sculpt:
1) 想像的世界裡，鯊魚和人類和平共處，那樣子將會是如何？
Imagine a world where sharks and human live in peaceful coexistence. What would that look like? Reverse the stereotypes of sharks.
2) 嘗試捕捉海中大小不一，不同種類鯊魚種，試去表現不一樣的美。
Sharks come in many shapes and forms. Try to capture the diversity of beauty found in shark populations.
3) 嘗試創造屬於您自己的水中天堂。
Create your own underwater paradise.
