Chinese International School Talk HKSF visited Chinese International School on the 7th April and delivered a presentation, “Anti-finning”. It is exciting to raise students’ awareness about this issue, and particularly to receive active responses from them. As a bonus, many students signed up to petitions to support HKSF’s conservation work. Even better, many of them now want to be one of our volunteers!
Spreading the message of shark conservation in Tsim Sha Tsui Ferry Pier HKSF were out and about in March, did you meet us at TST Ferry Pier? Our friendly, cuddly sharks distributed leaflets and posed for photos. You might see us again in HK – helping to dispel myths about sharks and raise public’s awareness…

HKSF talked to students at Victoria (Belcher) Kindergarten on 10th January. The students enjoyed participating in role plays, dramas and games. The talk was educational and fun, and we still had time for lots of questions during the Q&A section!
School Talks at HKUGA Primary School HKSF met students at HKUGA Primary School on 10th January. The students learned about shark protection through games and a lively group discussion. It’s great to meet such a lively and interactive group of students, who are so willing to share their ideas about shark conservation!

HKSF recently visited Fanling Rhenish Church Secondary School and 20 students volunteered their time after school and joined our shark workshop with local artist Kiwi (Miss Fat Studio).
