SHARK ART ROCKS!! After my talk to 150 Year 8 students at ESF Island School, I asked students for a “call to action” to make some noise through art to raise awareness about shark 🦈conservation.
Talented Y8 student Amber C. accepted the challenge and sent me this moving painting this week telling me … “The reason why the girl is there, and her hand is covering the one fin, is because it’s supposed to symbolise that we can either save sharks or we can destroy their entire species. And if we do try to save it then we need to work hard and start helping the sharks, bit by bit!” ❤️👍
Too right Amber! Thank you for your compassion and kindness to our sharks 🦈, our ocean 🌊 and our planet 🌍!! 👏👏👏
