Fantastic day back teaching in-person in Hong Kong! Hong Kong Shark Foundation 香港護鯊會 kicked off the new 2022/23 school year at the brand NEW ESF Island School teaching some 240 very enthusiastic Y8 students about shark 🦈 and ocean 🌊 conservation, SDG #14LifeBelowWater and the dangers of overfishing 🐠 and ocean 🌊 pollution.
Very impressed with the level of interest and student engagement this year (WOW 😁!!) and grateful to be a part of the Y8’s “Explorations” UOE which focused on “social action” and “advocacy” to improve lives and solve problems that are important in our communities.💪💪

Huge thanks to the fantastic new CAS Cordinator Paul Cooper. It is encouraging and promising when passionate and compassionate teachers like Paul take a genuine interest in teaching our future generations about the environment and our planet 🌎 ! Well done Paul and thank you. 👏👏
