FANTASTIC NEWS! First time ever for our Executive Director Andrea Richeyand Hong Kong Shark Foundation 香港護鯊會 to give a “live” webinar shark talk in China that reached over 9000 “live” viewers and over 166,000 clicks into the Weibo post!! The “The Ecological Value of Shark and Protection of Sharks” talk used both Weibo and Baidu and was part of our successful #SharkAwarenessDay2021 outreach July 14th to raise awareness about the plight of sharks and their important role in the ocean.

Super thanks to our wonderful host in China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF), a leading enviromental NGO based in China and RCEP 4C, a working committee founded by CBCGDF as part of the RCEP free trade agreement in Asia. And special thanks to Syying for helping make it happen!

We are looking forward to more cooperation and collaboration with CBCGDF in China to raise awareness about shark conservation in 2021/22.
