“Being a Shark Ambassador at West Island School was an honor, privilege and a rewarding experience. Myself and my Shark Ambassador peers learnt not only about the global issue of shark finning, but how to work as a team, brainstorm ideas, organise events, fundraise, and find ways to impactfully raise awareness. During my time as a Shark Ambassador I worked with many students like myself who were passionate about saving Sharks and the environment, with the club growing to almost 50 Ambassadors alone. I highly recommend as a primary or secondary student in Hong Kong to either join an existing HKSF Shark Ambassador program at your school or take the initiative to create one to make a change.”
