Amidst all this chaos in Hong Kong, a positive note for animals when over 500 people braved the protests and the rain to attend the #VegFestHK2019 out at Hong Kong Adventist College – 香港三育書院. Hong Kong Shark Foundation 香港護鯊會 had a rocking info booth today and engaged many people in the reality behind the shark 🦈 crisis and educated quite a few people on why shark finning is unsustainable.  But mostly I was impressed today with the 10 amazing 13 to 16-year-old girls who came out on their day off to volunteer their time to help raise awareness about shark conservation. We had some serious rockstars and budding animal activists in the making today and I am entirely grateful to everyone who was there helping out. I believe people not only had fun but they also learned a lot today about how individuals can do just small changes in their life and still make a difference.
