Hong Kong Shark Foundation, through the ambassador program in the ESF West Island School is extremely proud and grateful  for the very generous HKD 11,343 donation that the amazing students othere raised recently to increase awareness about shark conservation. The donation is the largest donation any school in Hong Kong has ever given the shark foundation in the 10 years as a Hong Kong charity. The student led, IB focused CAS Shark Ambassadors service club put together an amazing school wide Shark Week with games, a bake sale and other educational events to teach fellow students about the plight of sharks. With over 100 million sharks killed every year and 1/3 of the species near extinction, we need more Shark Ambassadors like these WIS students!
