Spot the Sharks
We will travel along most MTR rail lines with “shark friends” to invite passers-by to attend the activity “Sharksappear” on July 10-14, and to raise public awareness of shark conservation.
Date: July 6-7
Time: 10:00am – 5:00pm (July 6)/ 10:00am – 3:30pm (July 7)
Venue: All the lines but Ma On Shan Line, Tung Chung Line, Disneyland Resort Line and Airport Express
Media Interviews: Central station at 10:00am, Hung Hom station at 1:30pm, Central station at 3:30pm on July 7
Sharksappear
Sharks have been in our ocean since as early as over 400 million years ago, but the number of sharks has been going down sharply since 1950. Today, some shark populations have already declined by 90%. HKSF is hence holding this event to educate the public about the importance of shark conservation. We will have charity sale as well. Please come and support us.
Date: July 10-14
Time: 10:00am – 7:00pm
Venue: Star Ferry Pier, near McDonald’s, Tsim Sha Tsui
