馬拉松,鯊魚出沒注意! 人物專訪, 所有分類, 最新消息, 田徑 Athletics, 馬拉松 Marathon February 10, 2014 A+A- SHARE ON EMAILEMAILSHARE ON PRINTPRINT 【體路專訪】下周日天氣預報是「多雲,有一兩陣微雨。早上相當清涼。」,當天同是每年一度渣打馬拉松的日子,但即使下雨也無損全馬參加者符菁華(Kirsten)的決心,因為她要帶著「向魚翅說不」的訊息跟她一起跑42.195公里。 今年賽事破紀錄有七萬三千人參加,參加人數每年上升,活動甚至已成為香港人每年的指定動作,賽事性質已像一個嘉年華多於競賽,不少跑手以奇裝異服搶鏡,有人只想歡度一個早上,也有人想引起外界關注。 任職護士的符菁華(Kirsten)今年將是她第五次參加渣馬全馬,今年會是跑得最有意義的一年,她會穿起相當觸目的鯊魚衣「游」入比賽。「6、7年前,因為做護士工作關係要經常彎腰,身體勞損,有時會腰痛得不能動。醫生建議我去跑步,腰痛情況得到改善,現在也沒有再痛。」 想到要以跑步帶出保護鯊魚訊息,是因為Kirsten一次參觀香港護鯊會在JCCAC的展覽,展覽展出人數捕殺鯊魚的相片和影片,她說:「見到人們切掉鯊魚的魚鰭,然後把牠們掉回海裡,要牠們慢慢流血等死。」Kirsten經常呼籲身邊的朋友向魚翅說「不」,尤其將舉行婚宴的朋友,朋友們都十分支持,拒絕用魚翅做的菜式。「希望一傳十、十傳百……沒有了利潤,就能減少商家再濫捕殺鯊魚。」現在,Kirsten也是半茹素者,不會吃豬、牛、羊等肉類,希望減少人數濫殺動物。 Kirsten除了護士身份,也是一個手作品牌Buddies Accessories(笨地手作)的成員,成員來自各行各業,是Kirsten與幾位愛做手作的朋友於2012年一起創立,她們閒時會製作手飾、髮夾、布袋等DIY物品,然後拿到不同店舖和Cafe寄賣,所有收入將不扣除成本全數捐助到慈善機構。現時,「笨地手作」已助養了10名海外孤兒,護鯊會將成為她們新的捐助機構。Kirsten正構思製作有保護海洋訊息的飾物,實行身體力行要以各種途徑出宣揚鯊魚保育。 但畢竟穿著鯊魚衣跑步與一般跑步有分別,消耗體能肯定更多,Kirsten的朋友也紛紛表示支持她的行動,並成為Kirsten的後援隊伍,分佈在跑步路線沿途不同位置,為她提供食水和食物,但Kirsten笑言沒有擔心過:「頂不順的話,最多跑慢些,有信心能夠完成。」…
