Since it opened in 2010, Coast has already made a splash on the environmental scene. A first for a restaurant/bar in Hong Kong, the interiors and fit-out were awarded a Bronze LEED certification by the US Green Building Council (LEED = Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design)! Next, the team set about sourcing a fully sustainable seafood menu. Then, in October 2010, Coast donated 10% of the bar proceeds from one of its Sunday live music sessions to HKSF.
